Because I don't want to bore anyone with a lengthy post, here a some snippets of our life as of late:
--We waited out the "blizzard" that prompted the closure of campus (probably for the first time ever) and drove to Vernal for Thanksgiving break with Blue's family. The drive was uneventful except perhaps for Strawberry, where visibility was so low that we discovered the reason for the elevated flags lining the road.
--I am good at picking out Christmas trees, especially for one who's had a fake tree her entire life. I picked out both the in-law's tree (without seeing it open!) and our own small tree that now graces out apartment. I really like our little tree. It feels like Christmas already.
--Don't cheat. It's beyond stupid. I can tell that you're copying directly from a Wikipedia article. No foreign student uses the word "nascent." Even I don't use the word "nascent." (But just FYI, nascent means 'emerging; just coming into existence'.)
--Blue had dreams about my pulled pork and decided that we should ditch turkey next Thanksgiving in favor of my delectable concoction. Score.
